Why I think Solana overtook Ethereum in memecoins:
- Solana tokens are standardized - no custom code, a token is a token.
In Ethereum, a token can do all sorts of crazy stuff (transfer taxes, disabling sells, blacklists, etc).
- No “Approve” process, which is 1 extra step per trade plus a massive risk for entire wallet drains.
In Ethereum, one bad contract approval and your entire wallet is gone.
You hear far less stories like this on Solana.
- Simple onboarding.
Ethereum mainnet is unusable, so you have to bridge to an L2, which is complicated and fragmented.
Ethereum needs to build a “user-journey” around trading tokens that is secure,
rug-proof, fast, and in as few clicks as possible.
To do this, they have to redefine their entire ERC-20 token protocol and unify their L2s.

Stop using Uniswap (or Raydium on Solana).
Use DEX aggregators for the best prices on swaps. I'd suggest:
